Service Beyond Self
At Brookhouse Schools, we believe that culture is a shared responsibility and service is a shared commitment.
Our student-led initiative, Service Beyond Self, is built on the idea of moving beyond the classroom to create meaningful, residential service projects that support local communities. Each year, we work closely with a selected school to ensure that our efforts lead to real, lasting impact — this year, our focus is Kiambogo Primary School.
We strive to lead with empathy and purpose, ensuring that every fundraising effort translates directly into tangible improvements, from better learning environments to increased access to essential resources for students.
This year, the Year 12 cohort has worked collectively to organise Chroma Chaos 2026, our main fundraising event. Through this initiative, we aim to bring our community together in support of a shared goal — to create meaningful change and contribute to a better future for the students of Kiambogo Primary School.
Supporting Kiambogo Primary School
The Need
Kiambogo Primary School currently faces significant infrastructure gaps that hinder the educational experience for its students. From aging classroom structures to inadequate sanitation facilities, the lack of essential resources like textbooks creates a challenging environment for both learning and growth. Our assessment has identified a critical need for structural repairs and sustainable resource management.
The Goal
We are dedicated to transforming these challenges into opportunities for excellence. Our primary goal is to provide the necessary equipment and renovate core infrastructure like classrooms. By creating a safe and inspiring environment, we ensure that the students of Kiambogo Primary can focus on their education while benefiting from improved health and dignity within their school community.
